Challenge

Creation of an UI component development pattern using Web Components technology.

Standardization of development in Angular, such as static analysis, unit tests, best practices and market innovations.

With the new components, AXA will be technology-agnostic, no longer mattering whether the solution is Angular, React or .Net (or any other web tech), saving time and money on new and old projects.

Solution and methodology

• Creation of a components Marketplace with live documentation, demos, parameters and how to use them.
• Creation and maintenance of new communication channels (blog, newsletters, presentations, trainings and surveys), as the components can be used by other AXA entities (e.g. France, Japan, Mexico, etc…).
• Project generators with defined patterns (for Angular and Stencil.js).
