Challenge

The customer chose act digital as a strategic IT outsourcing partner and decided to set up a nearshore delivery hub with us in Portugal. The hub serves as an "extended" IT department of our customer and takes over various tasks in the areas of software development, cloud services, project management and design.

Currently, 10 IT experts from our IT Nearshore Center are already assigned to the hub. All experts work fully integrated in the teams of our customer.

• Provision of a Product Owner.

• Supporting cloud operations based on Microsoft Azure Cloud.

Our customer decided to work with us because they wanted a partner who could provide IT experts from Portugal on a permanent basis in Germany.

They made a conscious decision to establish a nearshore hub with us, as strategically parts of the software development are to be outsourced. In this way, they want to prevent the shortage of skilled workers.
